My name is Lacey Noland and I am the writer of Lou Times Two lifestyle and parenting blog. I am the mother to twin girls who seem to constantly challenge me in the unknown world of parenting. I am am also married to my husband, Coach, who is a former MiLB baseball player and now coaches high school baseball in our hometown.
I started this blog initially as a memoir to my girls, who I loved writing letters to as infants. I wanted them to know all the ways I felt as I learned how to care for them as a new mother. Sappy posts aside, I also realized there were LOTS of other people who deserved letters, some good and some bad, in regards to how they viewed, treated, or approached moms. And all truth be told, I owed myself some comical and honest letters as I learned I have absolutely NO idea what I am doing as a mommy half the time and that’s becoming ok. Motherhood is hard – no matter what season of life you are in or what closet you’re hiding in eating chocolate. So while you’re hiding from the kiddos sneaking sweets, I hope you find a chuckle here and there when you are reading this and celebrate the wild, crazy, controlled-chaos life that is parenting.
